Q: WHAT DOES IT COST?

A: It's all based on the type of package you initially choose and how many updates included within the package. We have several popular program offerings but will gladly create a special one for you. Your Callahan On-Hold Messages Account Representative will give you specifics based on your unique needs. Typically our Standard 10 message programs without any updates start at as low as $2.85 a day, and for

a 10 message program created four times a year is only $8.19 a day.



Q: HOW DO I PAY FOR IT & HOW OFTEN?

A: Most of our clients choose to pay quarterly but you can pay upfront as well. All payments are made by Electronic Funds Transfers.



Q: WHAT KIND OF AGREEMENT DO I HAVE TO SIGN?

A: Our initial contract period is just 12 months. After this period, your plan will automatically renew but on a monthly cycle. All equipment is leased and therefore maintained by us.



Q: HOW OFTEN CAN I CHANGE THE CONTENT OF MY PROGRAMS?

A: The frequency of your program updates is dictated by the program plan you choose. Your Callahan On-Hold Messages Account Representative will help you evaluate how your business changes during the course of a year, thereby helping you decide the best program for your business. We provide great flexibility should our client’s want more programs than their agreement calls for. 



Q: DO I HAVE TO WRITE THE SCRIPTS?

A: We have professional copywriters that do all of that for you. First, we gather information from you, including any marketing materials you may have. Next we create the first draft of your script for review and approval. We'll re-write it as many times as we need for your approval. Only when we have your final approval do we produce your program. Your typical time involvement in giving us information should be under 30 minutes. You can write the scripts if you like.



Q: WHAT OTHER WORK DO I HAVE TO DO?

A: We will contact you whenever it's time to update your program. If you want to make changes, simply let us know and we contact you for the details. Once you receive your new program, you only need to install it in your player. As we've said before, it really is that simple! 



Q: WHAT DO I OWN, WHAT DON'T I OWN?

A: Because the contracts are on a lease base, the equipment and package are owned by us. The creative audio programs that we produce remain our intellectual property at all times. You may continue to use them for only as long as you pay for our services. We pay the annual music license and voice talent fees that cover your use of the audio for as long as you're a Callahan On-Hold Messages customer-in-good-standing.



Q: HOW IS THE ON HOLD EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO MY PHONE SYSTEM?

A: Quite Simply! 90% of all phone systems have the connection required to hook our player up in five minutes or less. In most cases, installation of our equipment is easier than connecting a VCR to a TV. In the other 10% of phone systems, your original telephone hardware provider can hook our equipment to your system in about 5 minutes. (Not the telephone service provider, like Telstra or Optus, but the company that sold you

your actual telephone equipment).



Q: HOW DOES THIS AFFECT HOW MY PHONE SYSTEM WORKS?

A: Our service runs on the ‘Hold’ circuit only. It does not affect any auto-attendant message you may have, or how the auto-attendant answers your phones. It does not change the way your voice mail system sounds or works. We also provide customised Auto-Attendant Messages, and audio messages for voice mail systems.
